Or course its only necessary for most teenagers to have cell phones! Heres where you do your text messaging, long distance calls back home, short distance calls to your friends across the hall or down in the lobby. And if you can't get ahold of them, leave a voicemail message!

Aloha! Located on the norther edge of the land bridge between Haleakala and the West Mountain Range on the island of Maui, the Kahului Airport occupies 1, 391 acres of land and is located three miles east of Kahului. With two interesecting runways and full of air carrier facilities for domestic overseas and interisland commercial service, the airport holds your ticket either onto the island or off of it. The airport provideds commuter/air taxi and general aviation operations, including helicopter operations in a few locations.

Known as South Maui's best beachfront value, the Aston Maui Lu is an affordable lowrise hotel that sits on 28 acres of lush green land with two private beach coves. Serving continental breakfasts for those early risers and fresh ocean dinners for those who wish to take in the hotels night accomidations, these are only a few of the things the hotel offers. Outside the coves, the hotel features a large pool in the shape of Maui, colorful afternoon cabanas, as well as two tennis courts. As for rooms, each room holds a maximum of two queen size beds, a mini fridge, as well as a tv, patio, and large open windows.

While on one of Maui's infamous waterfall hikes, you spot a brightly colored Hawaiian blossom. Your not allowed to pick it, but the guide instructs you to visit Hawaiian Blossom Boutiques. The only place in west Maui where you will find authentic tropical flowers able to catch anyone eye. With sales of single stemmed blossoms, or large bouquets, find a flower that catches your eye or that of a special someone. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Serving some of Maui's most popular carbonated drinks and smoothies is Sparklers, a small beach side vendor with little space to work with, but alot of ingredients to please its guests. Choose from well known fruits, to those only you can find fresh on the lush green island, mix it up, and take a taste. Sparklers is sure to have you swimming back for more!

| Hook's Fine Seafood
In this upbeat, classic, seafood restaurant, you'll find great service, well priced lunch and dinner menus, as well as a few large aquariums holding rare tropical fish. Although Hook's may not be the finest looking restuarant in Maui, they serve fresh seafood, right out of the great Pacific. Reservations are not necessary, but if you want an ocean front view, or a table on the patio, they are recommended.

If you can hear the music, see the lights and smell the sweet scents of the Hawaiian drinks at the Lava Lounge, than you know you've come to the right place. Known as one of the finest R&R clubs in Maui, don't get your hopes up on resting. What with its upbeat, music, tourists and staff, it's harder than it looks to stay still. Plush decor, fancy clubbing attire, and affordable yet high end drinks are what you'll see at the Lava Lounge. Though ID's are a must, the place is so busy with people that if your lucky, you may be able to sneak past the bouncers at the entrance.

Welcome to one of Maui's most unique bars. Though the name could perhaps be a little more attractive, The Snorklers Saloon, located on deck of an original 'pirate ship,' serves drinks to anyone with an ID. While bouncers stand outside the loading dock, on deck is a very different story. What with a DJ booth in one corner, and a rustic looking bar on the other, its not surprising that most people question where they are after a few drinks.

For the residents of Maui Island, everything they could ever want in a home is located right here. What with their colorful outdoor and indoor decor, stuco exterior and red shingled roofs, these homes are nothing more than home sweet home to many of the island residents. Though not technically located 'in the rainforest' as the name of the community indicates, lush green trees and other plants can be found inside many of the homes and on the well groomed lawns.

| Haleakala National Park
